My Lazy Ace

So... since I am the only one in my apartment this week (as my roommates are still on their Christmas vacations because they don't have jobs that force them to take off only a week...) I've found it very hard to make good use of my time. I've been working a lot this week, which is a good thing. BUT, I have also wasted many hours playing guitar hero. This is not ok. What I should be doing is getting my lazy ace to the gym (one of my many New Year's Resolutions that I haven't started yet. I have been doing well on my no soda resolution. I wanted one so bad today... but I did not give in. This is the first step to a better bod...) OR I could finish reading my last book. I had four books that I wanted to read this break. I wanted to finish The Screwtape Letters, read Running With Scissors, Poison Study, and Jane Eyre. I have accomplished all of this except for finishing Jane Eyre. Time is slowing running out before school starts when I will no longer have time to read for fun. Guitar Hero has to go.

I have also found it particularly hard to motivate myself to get ready lately. I'll take a shower, but I find myself dreading blowdrying my hair and even more so, putting on make up. Today, I didn't even get dressed. I wore warmups and a t-shirt. No make up. And... didn't do my hair until a friend called and wanted to hang out. Then I did my hair. But still no make up and still wore warm ups. This is NOT OK. Good Gracious.
