I realized that I've been neglecting posting art lately, so here's one of the last pieces I did this past semester. The assignment was to observe something in nature that had movement, and find a way to convey it. A little abstract for my liking, but the teacher thought it was cool... so I guess that means something.

Ahh, the oft mentioned abstract piece. I agree that this would be a difficult one to do. I am more like you, see it an draw it.
But good work on this. It looks pretty funky with the swirls and stuff. I imagine it all neon colors and spinning for some reason.
