Polynesians and Cougars

Did you know that I can dance like a Polynesian? Neither did I. But apparently the leaders in my Stake thought that I could, so I've been working on learning this for the last month:

Hopefully this video works because I just spent an hour trying to upload it. Anywho... I learned a dance from Fiji and had to perform it in front of 800+ people in my stake last Thursday night. Good times. Did I mention that I don't dance? Also, I'm pretty sure the preparation for this dance gave me gray hairs. Yes, it was that stressful. It was like, swallowing up my life! But it's over now and I think it went pretty well and we had some of the best costumes so I am pleased.

Then this weekend was the first BYU home game of the season that we shall never speak about again on this blog. Just know that I was there, with Chad and multiple members of his extended family (+1 Ute fan) and I suffered through the ENTIRE thing. Because, unlike most other people in Utah...
I'm no fair-weather fan! I hung this flag on the outside of my bedroom door after the game, just to remind myself (and anyone else who may happen to look down our hallway) of that.
