So I'm finally picking up and moving out of Provo. Granted, I'm only going as far as Orem, but this entails some significant changes, including having my own bathroom and walk-in closet, only ONE other roommate, having to buy furniture (such as beds, couches, dressers, dining room tables, etc.), having cable again, and hopefully escaping from "Neverland" as I like to call it (since in Provo nobody ever grows up).
Have I ever mentioned that I hate moving? Because I really do. And I have moved every year since I was 17. That's 6 times, guys. Uncool. But every time I've moved it's always been a move for the better, so I am definitely welcoming this change. I've been feeling "stuck" for a long time now and I really hope that this move helps facilitate operation "getting unstuck and moving on with my life". But man-oh-man have I accumulated a lot of stuff over the years! When I moved to Provo way back in the day, I fit everything I owned into my little Rollie Pollie car. This time around it took 6 or 7 car loads and a lot of man power. And that's even after I went through and donated a lot of stuff to DI and the dump truck. But really it secretly makes me happy to go through and declutter, throw things away, reorganize, etc. It's a very strange kind of pleasure. Anyways. I hope to be done with this whole moving thing by Saturday. I've had enough man.
That's my new roomy in our new kitchen doing some unloading. Right now there are boxes EVERYWHERE. Can't wait to put everything away!

Eee! So glad you're out of the Enclave and in your new place.
I don't feel quite so bad about my poor car being stuffed to brim moving cross country now, after hearing about your carloads. ;)
Looking forward to seeing pics of the place as it gets set up!
PS: tormiker...not quite a good name. Maybe a nickname for a boy?
Oh sad! Moving means summer is over. What fun we had
haha I love that you were able to avoid the mess in the living room for this picture :)
