Thanksgiving

Man, I've been writing this blog post in my head all week and now that I'm actually sitting down to do it I can't remember all of the good stuff I was going to say! Oh well.
For Thanksgiving I flew home to California for a few short days. I spent Wednesday baking pies and making stew with my Momma - accompanied by our dear friend, Coca-Cola, and followed by beginning the Christmas Spirit in watching one of our traditional movies, Holiday Inn.

Fabulous flick, let me tell you. If you haven't seen it... you haven't lived.
Thursday we went over to my Grandparents' house to have Thanksgiving dinner with them and my aunt and uncle and family. It was DELICIOUS! Anybody that knows me knows how much I love food... so naturally there's a good reason why Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday. And of course you know that I got a super awesome purple camera for my birthday a month and a half ago and of course I brought it with me, but forgot the charger, so of course it was out of battery! I failed to take pictures...again. BUT, I stole some of the ones from my mom's camera:

The girls (minus Elly Belly).

Three generations - Grandpa's Sweetheart #3, #1, and #2 as he calls us.

Me and my HOT Momma. It's easy to see from where I get my good looks, ehhh?

The day after Thanksgiving my mom, sister, and I all got pedicures (fabulous) and then went and saw New Moon together. That movie makes me laugh - though it did, somehow, turn me into a Jacob fan and I definitely NEVER saw that coming. Haha! ;-)

All-in-all, it was a short trip, but it was great. I felt relaxed and even happy and it was really nice to spend some quality time with the Madre. We needed it.

Now it's back to school and 10+ page papers for three weeks and I'm DONE! WooHoo!

Glad you had a good trip home! It looks like it was good for you. Are you back to normal yet, healthwise?

Good luck in the next 3 weeks my friend! :)
