Life is busy these days... and definitely NOT balanced. School and work dominate my life and have shrunk my social life into something barely even pea-sized. I just don't see a way to have a balanced life and still get good grades. When you're taking 16 credits (10 of which are English credits) you have about 6+ hours of reading to do every night. Tack working 3 days a week onto that and WAHLAH! No social life because you're always too wornout to hang out. So if anyone is looking for a little less socialness and a little more studiousness, here's your equation:
20 hours of work a week + 16 credits in the English Major = Bye bye social life
P.S. I forgot to write in on here that I am going to Europe in T minus 105 days. BOO YAA! I'm going on a quest for the Holy Freakin Grail!
Oh and I'm moving to Enclave for spring/summer and I plan on spending all of spring working full time and lying next to the pool. England will have never seen anyone quite so tan!

That sounds familiar to me. My Junior and Senior year of college, my roommate and I didn't have much of a social life at all. . . But somehow, she managed to get married a month after graduation. Keep up the good work, and don't worry about it too much. Things work out in the most interesting ways when you focus on doing what the Lord wants you to do.
