I spent President's Day Weekend in sunny Southern California.
One word: Perfection.
I got home early Saturday morning, slept a bit, and spent the rest of the day laying outside in the sun, reading a book, and eating In-N-Out. You may be wondering if this is my pathetic idea of a vacation... well it is. And my brother came up from San Diego to visit, which is always a blast.
I spent sunday hanging out with the fam... fell asleep sitting outside on our balcony (have the sunburnt ears to prove it... and I've never been so happy to have a sunburn!) We ate Salmon croquets (which I was begged to make) and had a fantastic family dinner talking about childhood mischieviousness.
I spent monday morning (you guessed it!) in our backyard Jacuzzi and soaking up as much sun as I possibly could. Oh and you know I had some more In-N-Out.
All in all, it was a short but completely worth it trip, and I NEVER wanted to leave.
Oh and I can't leave out that I finally watched the movie Wild Hogs, which I secretly wanted to see ever since I first saw the trailor for it last year... and it's got a horrible plot, but man is it funny. John Travolta is a Hollywood genius.
