I worked all night and got home with five minutes to spare. I changed my clothes and ran to my neighbors just in time for the count down and the ball drop. All night long my entire goal was to get out of work early enough to celebrate the start of a new year. New opportunites. New experiences. A fresh start.
But when the count down was finished I didn't feel any different.
New Years was very anticlimactic.
But here's to New Years resolutions and keeping them, and here's to the people I love, and here's to the start of something... even though I don't know what that something is yet.
